3. Data Collection on This Website

Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. When you use this website, various personal data is collected. Server log files: The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits. These are: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of server request, IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. The basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).

4. Image Processing and AI Visualization

When you upload an image, it is transmitted to our AI pipeline for processing. The following applies: - Uploaded images are used exclusively for creating the PV visualization. - Processing is carried out via the APIs of Google (Gemini) and Anthropic (Claude) on their servers. - Images from the free demo are deleted from our servers within 24 hours after processing. - Visualizations created under a paid plan remain available in your project area for 90 days from creation and are deleted automatically afterwards. Please download any results you need permanently within this period. - No storage beyond these periods takes place. - For the free demo, your email address is additionally stored (legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR — contract fulfillment). The processing of images by third-party providers (Google, Anthropic) is subject to their respective privacy policies.

5. Team Accounts and Invitations

Account owners can invite additional people to a shared team account. The following applies: - To send an invitation, we store the email address entered by the account owner along with the team name, the time of the invitation and the assigned role (owner, administrator or member). - Invitation and login emails are sent via Resend, Inc., 2261 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. The recipient address and the content of the email are transmitted to Resend. Privacy policy: https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy - The invitation link is valid for 7 days. The account owner can revoke an invitation that has not yet been accepted at any time; the stored address is deleted in the process. - Within a team, all members can see the uploaded images, the generated visualizations, the project names and the email address of the person who created a visualization. Credits and an uploaded company logo are shared. - The finished visualization is emailed to the person who started it, not to the account owner. - If the account owner removes a member, that member immediately loses access to the team area. Visualizations already created remain with the team, as they were created at the account owner's expense. - If a member deletes their own account, their login data is deleted and their visualizations are unlinked from them (anonymization). If the sole owner of a team deletes their account, the team, its credit balance and all visualizations are deleted. The retention periods described in section 4 apply unchanged to team accounts. The legal basis for processing member email addresses is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (contract fulfillment) and Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in shared use of the service within a company). The inviting account owner is responsible for the lawfulness of the addresses they enter.

6. Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Stripe, Inc. Stripe processes your payment data (e.g., credit card number, bank details) on their own servers. We do not store complete payment data. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (contract fulfillment). More information: https://stripe.com/privacy

7. Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary cookies that are required for the operation of the site (e.g., session cookies, language settings). No tracking or marketing cookies are used. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest).

8. Hosting

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH. Hetzner processes the data mentioned in section 3 on our behalf. A data processing agreement (DPA) according to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded. 9. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: - Google Gemini API (image generation): Your uploaded images are transmitted to Google servers. Privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy - Anthropic Claude API (image analysis/validation): Your uploaded images are transmitted to Anthropic servers. Privacy policy: https://www.anthropic.com/privacy - Stripe (payment processing): See section 6. - Resend (email delivery): We send login links, team invitations and notifications about finished visualizations via Resend, Inc. The recipient address and the content of the email are transmitted. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (contract fulfillment).
